Sukhi DJ'd my wedding at Arden Hills Resort. I had a Persian-Punjabi reception and he was able to seamlessly blend music from both cultures. I received countless compliments on the DJ and the music from both Persian and Punjabi people.
He was very professional and responded quickly to emails. He played every song that I had emailed during my ceremony and reception. I had uploaded around 30 Persian songs on google drive and he was able to incorporate most of them. I had provided a detailed timeline of when I wanted certain songs played and he delivered on that aspect as well.
Sukhi visited the venue with me twice before the wedding and did a great job with the lighting. I also had Sukhi MC my wedding and he did a phenomenal job keeping the party on the timeline I provided. He learned to pronounce the entire bridal party's names before the grand entrance and he was truly a huge help to me on the mic.
I also appreciated how quickly he would change the song when he noticed people leaving the dance floor or slowing down. He really did do an amazing job. Both families are incredibly happy to have booked with Sukhi and my husband loved the 10 minute hip-hop session.

A few weeks ago Sukhi DJ'd my engagement party, and to say he did an amazing job is an understatement. During the first phase of planning my engagement party my cousin approached me with a demand (not a request) that I MUST hire the DJ his brother-in-law had hired for his wedding. Fortunately for me and all those who enjoyed themselves at my party, my cousin's enthusiasm was enough for me to know I did not need to look any further for a DJ, I had found the one. Everything from his professionalism to his genuine desire to please his clients exceeded all of my expectations. He was exceptionally attentive during our many discussions leading up to my event, and always responded to my emails in a timely manner - which I'm sure those of you who have planned an event of this magnitude know is very much appreciated! I have worked with other DJ's in the past, from well seasoned to up and comers, and I have never come across a DJ quite like Sukhi. His talents go unparalleled by the flock of DJ's out there. His extraordinary ability to keep the momentum going goes above and beyond any DJ I have ever seen (or in this case, heard)!
What truly sold me on Sukhi was something that happened during my party - A few days prior to my party, I told Sukhi that I absolutely did NOT want any Hindi film music to be played, so when my mother-in-law (of all people) approached him to play a Hindi film song, he kindly told her "Poonam said no to that particular genre." He waited for me to give him the "okay" to play a few songs, and it amazed me how well he kept the momentum going considering what he had to play at my mother-in-law's request. From what I have experienced in the past with DJ's, parameters can be set, but once an aunty or a pushy drunk uncle approaches, out go the parameters! However, Sukhi kept his word and I found that very admirable. I felt he respected my wishes and that truly meant a lot to me.
Needless to say, Sukhi will be DJ-ing all of my upcoming wedding events and I could not be more enthused. If talent, professionalism, and an excellent personality is what you are looking for in a DJ, then look no further - Sukhi is your man!
My wife and I had them for our wedding recently in LA and these guys were awesome. My wife sent Sukhi an email with all songs we wanted played during the introductions, first dance, and cake song, and it all went perfect. We even requested a dance off between both families a couple of days before the reception and they were able to set it up and they rocked it. We even sent them pictures to post on their projectors and LCD tvs the DAY OF THE EVENT and they executed it perfectly. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a punjabi DJ. They know how to read the crowd, keep both punjabi and western guests happy, and keep the party going.

Sukhi was amazing at our wedding. He kept the party going at the Sangeet & Reception with all the young people and the aunties & uncles. He was able to mix great Bollywood, Bhangra and Western music. He was AMAZING at accommodating our western music tastes and going deeper than the top 40 most Indian DJs play. Awesome work, professional service and he set the party of FIRE!
First and foremost, I'd like to thank Sukhi for everything. He was super patient through the preparation, planning, and execution. I'll admit, I'm pretty OCD when it comes to what I want- and he completely delivered and exceeded my expectations. During the event, while it was only background music, I bothered him to make sure he'd be able to get the crowd on the dance floor when the time comes. He replied with a smile telling me to relax and enjoy myself- and later on when he started spinning, the dance floor was instantly crowded and full of energy. His set up and lighting was absolutely amazing, and having been around for a long time he really knows how to treat his clients. My dad isn't one to go out of his way to compliment a vendor 3 days later, but he specifically told me he loved Sukhis energy and attitude in how he dealt with him. He had a smile on his face the entire night, and was very accommodating and professional. I also had a performer brought in, Sukhi handled all logistics, contract, everything...and they both killed it together. Look no further than Sukhi and the BPR crew for your events, whether it be for a complete package including lighting, decor, and a performer- or just for his DJ services. The hall went from looking elegant and formal to looking like a club as soon as his lighting took over once dancing started, we were truly blown away. It was my first time working with Sukhi, which is why I was so blown away. I've held many events in the past- from sweet 16s to my parents 25th anniversary party and sisters engagement party last year.....and must say I've never experience this level of service. Not to mention he was completely in synch with both Bollywood and Punjabi music. I forgot to touch on this part in the first part of my review, but this is a big deal to me. Our crowd dabbles in both, and a lot of the times a DJ is only good at one or the other- these days mainly punjabi music. He was a master at both and completely knows how to feel out a crowd and play what makes them move. I felt this was important to add as a lot of people look for this specifically and are always worried about if the DJ would be able to cater to a Bollywood crowd....don't even think twice when it comes to Sukhi.
We have had Sukhi and his crew DJ our events several times over the years be it a wedding or small holiday party at the house and have never been disappointed . They are by far the best and would recommend them highly , bit pricey but worth it.

you just tell him your kind of music and he will take it from there. I didn't even have time to give him a playlist. i just said upbeat music... he did the rest.

Sukhi DJ'd my sister's wedding in August 2015. He is amazing! We consistently had people ask us about the DJ; he played great music and transitions between songs were seamless even when they were across different genres. The greatest reasons I will be hiring the BPR Crew in the future are communication and responsiveness.
The BPR Crew exceeded my expectations and contributed significantly to a memorable night.
Professional and responsive. Sukhi and BPR have been in the game longer than most and it most definitely shows in their performance. Had a last minute bhangra team performance cancellation, however, BPR Crew more than made up for it by keeping the program moving and the crowd entertained. Some guests may have been annoyed that I didn't allow any special requests, however, Sukhi stood firm and kept his promise to allow me to have full control of the evening and it was much appreciated. Would recommend BPR for any South Asian event as they provide everything from lighting and monogramming to dj/emcee services.
Sukhi & BPR did an amazing job DJing our Sangeet & Reception a few weeks ago; they're so good that we used them for 2 of our wedding events within the same week. When we were planning our wedding, there was no one else I wanted other than Sukhi & BPR. They were not only professional, they played amazing music & kept the party going!! He also did a great job pumping up the crowd & keeping to our schedule of events. Makes me what to have another party just so we can have them DJ! BPR are such professionals that I would recommend them for ANY event!
Sukhi's performance is impeccable. He has an incomparable ability to gauge crowds. Sukhi had DJ'ed my wedding reception party which included a wide variety of people including family from Canada, Australia, UK, and India. We also have DJ's within the family and had our Western friends attend. Not only was Sukhi able to create an ambience special and unique to our needs, but was able to keep the dance floor packed the entire night. I specifically remember my cousins bolting back to the dance floor because every song was "their jam" It is unbelievable how many compliments I received about the entertainment Sukhi was able to provide from all our various crowds. Sukhi, ultimately, was the "wow" factor that ensured my occasion was exceptional. He genuinely treated my event as his own. I have found the DJ that I can trust to go above and beyond to get the job done. I have found my permanent DJ in Sukhi.
If I could give more stars I would ! Let me just say WOW ! Not only will they make sure all your guest are on the dance floor, they will go out of their way and make sure every family request was played and definitely keep the spot light on the couple ! Amazing sound quality and great music choice. They cater to the crowd so if you want folk, Bollywood, hiphop or whatever Sukhi will make sure you get it !! Best DJ in Cali! BPR Crew DJ'd both my Sangeet and Wedding Reception and did a great job both nights. I provided an agenda to follow, which included playlists, and it was followed as I wanted. They also did a good job of mixing Punjabi and American music.
These guys are AMAZING! I recently coordinated an American/Indian wedding at the Mirage and The BPR Crew DJed. I can't say enough about them! They were professional, fun and incredibly talented. As a coordinator, I'd say the DJ can make or break a reception. These guys sure made it! Their MC skills for things like the grand entrance and first dance we're on point, professional and likable but short and focused on the couple. They read the crowd well! Pleasing a mixed culture group like we had is no easy task but they got the party started and kept it going! These guys can mix! They even made it snow on the dance floor! Amazing! The guys were super nice and easy to work with! I HIGHLY recommend them!
I had the BPR Crew for my engagement ceremony. We had a great time with the crew. Sukhi really went out of his way to come down and help determine where the DJ would be set up and where the projectors etc would look best. Sukhi is very professional and plays really good music to keep the party going. The reason for my 4-stars is because the dholi canceled last minute, and we had a party without a Dholi. But all in all, a great group of guys to work with!
Truly as good as it gets. Their setup is tastefully staged, and his mix will be sure to not leave your dance-floor empty for the entire night until the lights go up. Sukhi is graceful with processions, even with quick on the fly changes. I had a wedding reception with this crew, and they were great with every aspect of our planning and attentiveness. Great night with BPR - can't go wrong.
This passed Labor Day weekend my husband and I had the BPR crew come and Dj for our reception party. Sukhi and his team did such an incredible job and really exceeded our expectations. Sukhi is really fast on responding to phone calls and text messages so I never really had to worry about him being unprofessional. He really listened to what we wanted and help us when it came to planning the event. The songs he played had the party going, and not once was the dance floor empty. Good is the Dj is good. Sukhi ana his team are hands down the best, the dholis, the team, the set up, the uplighting was phenomenal. I would recommend the BPR crew to anyone and everyone and you won't be disappointed thank you once again BPR crew for making our party what it was.

Sukhi, from the BPR crew, was recommended by my sister-in-law for the fantastic job that he did at her LA reception and my best friend, whose reception I attended and had the most spectacular time at! I knew at that party that BPR crew was far superior than the rest of the DJs who's work I had experienced in the past.
Prior to the event, I had spoke with Sukhi, who is super easy going, and he ensured me not to worry; he agreed to DJ and MC my event. I made him a timeline with times/songs/announcement and he followed it exactly and made sure things ran seamlessly and on schedule.
He was lively throughout the entire event, making announcements that got everyone laughing, involved in dancing, and having a great time! I have been receiving compliments all week about how amazing the event was, and that was in huge part due to the entertainment provided by BPR crew!
